Always remember that you BOTH have feelings.
Keep in mind that you are together because you both respect, and love each other.
Always remember, What if the tables were turned….How would you feel?

Even though you’re married, it doesn’t mean you need to do everything together.
My husband and I often do things apart.
For example, I enjoy going to food and wine expos, and my husband doesn’t. Instead, I go with one of my girlfriends.
On the other hand, my husband enjoys watching football and I don’t. Instead he watches with a guy friend.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s important to spend time together, but it’s also important to do things apart. You’ll cherish your time together more.
My husband values loyalty. He knows, if the grass looks greener on the other side, it just means that we need to water our own lawn more often!
Try and dedicate one night a week to “date night”
Plan on spending an evening alone, or even a whole day!
Watch movies, make dinner, have a few cocktails. Make it fun! This day/night is all about the two of you. Make the most if it!!
The point is, that while life is crazy enough, be sure to make time for the person you chose to spend the rest of your life with; it’s so important.
Share the work load around the house and in your relationship.
One of you takes the garbage cans to the road, the other one can bring them in.
One of you starts the laundry, the other can switch it over.
One or both of you goes grocery shopping, unload them and put them away together.
Make dinner together.
These types of things keeps the stress level down.
Don’t fight about money. Fighting will not solve anything; it will only piss both of you off. If you have a money situation, come up with a way to fix it.
- Get a second job
- Cut back on some expenses
- Sell some stuff (for quick cash)
Arguing doesn’t solve anything. If you need to talk about it, do just that, talk about it.
